Chairman’s Message

ARIF EFEKTIF SDN. BHD. (AESB) is a subsidiary company under ALL COSMOS BIOTECH HOLDING plays a pivotal role in formulating effective eco-friendly bio-based products in the form of bio-organic and bio-chemical fertilizers through the application of biotechnological approaches. Through its comprehensive research and development activities, AESB has successfully utilize Effective Microorganisms (EM) as one of the important components in our smart bio-fertilizer. Apparently value adding of fertilizer with EM has remarkably enhance soil fertility and provide protection against certain harmful diseases, thus, resulting in increase yield and improve tolerance/resistant to certain diseases of food and plantation crops.

I am happy to note that AESB is one of the leading company in the country and possibly in the region that utilizes plant wastes as organic matter which conform to the halal requirement. Evidently, AESB supports the government initiative related to conversion of waste to wealth and promoting environmental friendly and sustainable production system.

Development of new innovative products through R&D activities and strong promotion and marketing support from sister company has resulted in increase demand from both local and oversea markets. In order to remain competitive our philosophy is to produce technology based and market oriented products. Our collaboration with local and oversea research institutions and universities has been effective in generating appropriate technologies for the industry. Among prominent research institutions and universities working closely with us over the years are MPOB, MARDI, LGM, UTM and UPM.

I have great confident with the ability of our researchers to generate leading edge technologies not only in bio-fertilizers but also in new products, such as enzymes, health supplements and animal feed in the near future. We will continue to invest in human resource development, acquisition of appropriate research equipment and facilities, as well strengthening our strategic alliance with research institutions and universities.

Moving ahead I can assure you that AESB will be play a greater role in bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides to meet the current and future trend for environmental friendly products. I wish to record my sincere appreciation to everybody for their contribution towards the growth of this company and look forward to take on new challenges and scale greater heights of achievement in the future.
